My MP3 Player hangs at power on or when in use. What can I do?

Sometimes, when using your GrooveCASE mini, it may occur the following :
- Your GrooveCASE mini displays the “Data corrupted” error message at Power-On.
- Your GrooveCASE mini displays “can’t play this file”, and you are sure that files present in the GrooveCASE mini are playable bi it.
- Your GrooveCASE mini remains with “PikaOne” message displayed at Power-On and locks or does not start normally.
What you can do in these cases, is to format the GrooveCASE mini to correct the problem. To format the GrooveCASE mini, it is mandatory to use a FAT32 format.
. Please, note that the files present by default on the GrooveCASE mini are not important for the good working of the GrooveCASE mini. Only the PIKAONE.TXT is necessary for the iTunes plug’ in for MAC. If this file is accidentally erased, you can create it using a text editor software. The content is not important, only the name PIKAONE.TXT is important.

Procedure to format the GrooveCASE mini hard disk :
The 1rst and the better solution to format the GrooveCASE mini is to format it using the internal FORMAT menu, as explained in the user’s guide in chapter 5.5.3.

You will be able to format it downloading the PikaFormat software available in our internet site.

Once formatted, the GrooveCASE mini will automatically create a CONFIG hidden directory used by it to store its own and user’s parameters. Then, copy your Music files from your PC to the GrooveCASE mini.
But, don't forget to copy Music files supported by the GrooveCASE mini (MP3, WMA with or without DRM, PCM, MS-ADPCM, but not MP3 PRO, OGG Vorbis …).
